New Developments for Higher Education
Public university candidates can say goodbye to the traditional classroom setting. Earlier this month, the Ministry of Higher Education announced a game-changing move that will revolutionise the way they learn.
Starting from the 2023/24 academic session, the public universities will be introducing a hybrid and flexible learning system, enabling students to attend classes only in their first and final years, and study from home in between. A total of 95 first-degree programmes at 19 public universities are already on board. The study duration of 44 programmes at 9 public universities will also be shortened from 4 years to 3 years.
We wholeheartedly support this move, as we have long championed flexibility, accessibility, and affordability through our fully online programmes. Our learners learn at their own pace and in their own space from start till graduation, without sacrificing their quality of education.
Additionally, we offer flexible admission and credit transfer, through the Accredited Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) pathway. By recognising your existing knowledge and skills, we have made it easier than ever to get a head start on your educational journey and to fast-track your way to a degree.
So, get ready to unleash your inner trailblazer and seize control of your education. The future of learning is knocking at your door, and the possibilities are absolutely limitless. Embrace this exciting new era and get ready to embark on an educational adventure like no other.
