Ramadan Outreach by Kelab METEOR

Kelab METEOR, the staff club of our institution, organised three initiatives for the fasting month.

On 26 March, the club made 150 people at Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Bestari in Kampung Melayu Subang, Shah Alam, super happy with Program Cahaya Kasih Ramadhan. The club gave them a shiny new washing machine and seven standing fans to make their place comfy and cool. The club also handed out duit raya, lifting the residents’ spirits further. It was a day filled with big smiles and warm hearts

Keeping up their awesome work, on 3 April, Kelab METEOR held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at Menara OUM in Kelana Jaya. A total of 48 staff members had finished reading the whole Holy Quran so, as a big thank you for their dedication, each person received a lovely bunga telur from OUM President/Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang.

The same day, the air was filled with a tantalising aroma as Kelab METEOR treated approximately 400 staff at Menara OUM to pulut kuning and rendang ayam. Learning Centres all over the country also received funds to treat their staff to yummy meals just like this one.

As we reflect on these meaningful initiatives, let us be inspired to continue spreading joy and support in our communities every Ramadan.
