Seberang Jaya LC Spreads Smiles at Hospital
Hospital visits during Ramadan can inject a dose of positivity and hope into the lives of patients and their families. The festive cheer, coupled with gifts, can uplift their spirits and provide a momentary escape from illness and worry.
Thus, on 5 April, the Seberang Jaya Learning Centre (LC) embarked on a noble mission to spread joy and show support to those who have been warded. Led by the Director, Puan Norhayati Razali, the LC visited Hospital Kepala Batas, bringing gifts and duit raya.
They were warmly received by the hospital director, administration staff, and two matrons, who facilitated their visit to a medical ward and a children’s ward.
As they traversed the halls of the hospital, the LC team witnessed first-hand the resilience and courage of the patients as they received the tokens of support. In the children’s ward, smiles bloomed on the faces of the young patients when they were approached by the team. It was heart-warming to see sad and bored expressions turn into delight and happiness!
The visit to Hospital Kepala Batas served as a poignant reminder of the power of compassion and the importance of community service. The team left with the hope that their small gesture made some difference in the lives of those they had touched.
