Zonal Raya Get-Togethers Bring Cheer

Apart from the Raya open house in the Klang Valley, five Raya gatherings were held for the staff of OUM’s 35 Learning Centres. These took place according to zones: north, south, east, Sabah and Sarawak.

They were held as follows:

1. Southern Zone

• Date: 13 May
• Venue: Thistle Hotel, Johor Bahru
• Learning Centres: Seremban, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Simpang Renggam, Batu Pahat, Pontian

2. Eastern Zone

• Date: 13 May
• Venue: Zenith Hotel, Kuantan
• Learning Centres: Kuantan, Kuala Lipis, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Temerloh

3. Northern Zone

• Date: 20 May
• Venue: Weil Hotel, Ipoh
• Learning Centres: Taiping, Alor Setar, Sg Petani, Seberang Jaya, Tanjung Malim, Manjung, Ipoh & Greenhill

4. Sabah

• Date: 27 May
• Venue: Hilton Kota Kinabalu
• Learning Centres: Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Sandakan, Keningau, Kota Marudu

5. Sarawak

• Date: 28 May
• Venue: Pullman Hotel, Miri
• Learning Centres: Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri

The University’s top management travelled from the Klang Valley to attend all the Raya gatherings and take part in the celebrations together with all the Learning Centre staff.
